This paper initially describes aspects of the modeling of structures equipped with energy dissipators Shear Link Bozzo (SLB) and develops two iterative design procedures to select these devices. This methodology is applied to a precast 5-story reinforced concrete building. The SLB energy dissipation devices are initially stiff, but ductile with a range of yielding forces from 36 kN to 900 kN characterized by 52 + 52 standard devices. Moreover, these devices can be combined in parallel giving a very wide range of possibilities for selection and corresponding structural response. Therefore, to simplify its automatic selection, this article presents two procedures: (1) direct iteration and (2) inverse or fixed force iteration. In recent years, the number of applications of model predictive control (MPC) is rapidly increasing due to the better control performance that it provides in comparison to traditional control methods. However, the main limitation of MPC is the computational e ort required for the online solution of an optimization problem. This shortcoming restricts the use of MPC for real-time control of dynamic systems with high sampling rates. This thesis aims to overcome this limitation by implementing high-performance MPC solvers for real-time control of fast systems. El presente estudio tiene como finalidad determinar el comportamiento sismorresistente de una estructura de quince niveles, en la ciudad de Trujillo, comparando el desempeño de dos sistemas estructurales: el sistema Diagrid y el sistema Dual. El estudio se desarrolló mediante el modelamiento y análisis estructural en el software ETABS, considerando los parámetros normativos establecidos en la Norma Técnica Peruana E.030 – Diseño Sismorresistente y otras disposiciones técnicas relacionadas. El sistema Diagrid fue evaluado en cuatro configuraciones (2, 4, 8 y 16 niveles por módulo, con ángulos de 26.57°, 45°, 63.43° y 75.96°, respectivamente). Hoy en día, el análisis sísmico y el diseño geotécnico de instalaciones mineras, como depósitos de desmonte de mina y pads de lixiviación ubicadas usualmente en zonas altamente sísmicas, requieren una adecuada caracterización de las propiedades dinámicas de los materiales que se almacenarán en ellas, tales como el desmonte de mina y mineral ROM (run-of-mine) o mineral directo de mina sin proceso de chancado, esto con el fin de evaluar la estabilidad sísmica de estas estructuras.
