El estudio planteó determinar la forma en que los procesos de contratación del Estado estan asociadas con la gestión de una Institución Estatal en Lima. El tipo es aplicado, diseño no experimental transversal. La muestra la conformaron por 40 trabajadores administrativos del Programa Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (Pronatel). En cuanto a la recolección de datos se empleó una prueba validada por expertos, y la consistencia fue verificada mediante la prueba de Cronbach. El resultado obtenido a través del análisis de regresión lineal múltiple destacó que los procesos de contratación del Estado inciden de forma significativa en la gestión de la institución, explicando el 91,5 % de su variabilidad.
