This paper proposes to explain the perception about China and the opinion making in Western social networks. It explores the most commented news (in BuzzSumo) in 2017. Through quantitative and qualitative analysis content, shares, commented and likes are quantified; positive and negative perception indicators are measured; the most repeated words (Wordclouds.com) are selected, and the texts are analysed and interpreted. The monitoring of network users (graphs theory and Gelphi) shows the relationship among them. The triangulation of methods and sources is completed with a survey. As a result, the perception about China on the social networks varies depending on the subject and on the distance. A finales del año 2019, se dio a conocer un virus que se propagaba rápidamente por el mundo, generada en Wuhan (China) y esta fue catalogada como COVID-19. En Lima (Perú) cientos de negocios se vieron afectados por la cuarentena a causa de la pandemia, dejando algunos en quiebra o bancarrota, y no solo eso, sino también que afectó en la salud de varias personas. Al terminar la cuarentena dichos negocios tuvieron que adaptarse a la situación y al cambio de vida. The COVID-19 health crisis posed a new scenario for society, having a ripple effect in, academic areas; to a greater extent, the audiovisual. University entities were ahead of events and proposed TRIC practices that would serve for the times that were to come and that in many cases were ahead of now normalized actions. This research analyzes the cognitive, emotional and social learning acquired by students in quarantine and how the realization of Radio Nebrija in the radio field and Nebrija Talent in the television field, two TRIC projects based on an ABP methodology, served to configure new working models for students and new university dynamics for teachers. Communication research in times of epidemics and pandemics is an important factor in prevention, treatment and recovery. The study presented analyzes the behavior of communication research about epidemics and pandemics through the scientific production registered in the Scopus database. Indicators are used to assess general publication trends at the country, institutional, author, journal and article level. The prevailing themes and their evolution over time are examined, as well as the evolution in the groups and associated research fronts. The results show a trend towards the growth of publications with a higher concentration in 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic showed the current relevance of the use of online communication technologies, including social networks, for daily life. However, this growing advance of virtual media can lead to problematic behaviors similar to those of addiction; mainly in adolescents, who are frequent users of the networks. The present study sought to analyze the manifestation of addiction to social networks in this population, within the Latin American area, for which a systematic review of studies carried out in the period from 2020 to 2022 was carried out. 230 references from specialized databases were obtained, which were analyzed following the PRISMA model standards and according to eligibility criteria, based on the PICO strategy.
