Introduction: Liver fasciolosis is a zoonotic parasitic disease that affects human beings. It is caused by Fasciola hepatica, and it has a great impact in public health not only in Peru but also in many areas in the world.Objectives: To determine the prevalence of Fasciola hepatica infection in Caujul District, Oyon Province, Lima Department, and to determine possible associated risk factors.Material and methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study was performed in August 2006, where 132 fecal samples from persons living in Caujul District representing every age group and comprising 37% of the total population were assessed. It includes the analysis of what it contributes to the National Budget and to the Provincial and District Municipalities (economic, objective impact), the feeling of the population (social, subjective impact, perception), the effects of its actions on the environment (environmental impact, objective) and what is obtained by the company (economic profits, objective). El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo principal proponer una propuesta de identidad cultural para mejorar el desarrollo del turismo sostenible en las actividades turísticas de los baños termales de Churín, de tal manera se utilizó tres soluciones para resolver los problemas que enfrenta el distrito de Churín, respecto al turismo sostenible dentro de las actividades turísticas. Mediante el análisis de la información recaudada, perteneciendo a tres subcategorías de la categoría problema: el desarrollo económico, el desarrollo social y desarrollo medioambiental. La enfermedad de Carrión es producida por la bacteria Bartonella bacilliformis y transmitida por mosquitos del género Lutzomya. Característicamente produce tres estadios: agudo, intercalar y verrucoso. La severidad del estadio agudo varía ampliamente desde formas asintomáticas u oligosintomáticas, hasta casos fatales con falla orgánica múltiple, insuficiencia hepática, anemia hemolítica severa y coagulación vascular diseminada. En el Perú, la enfermedad es endémica en algunos valles interandinos y regiones de selva alta. En el departamento de Lima, se han reportado casos en las provincias de Huarochirí, Oyón, Canta, Huaral y Yauyos.
