The objective of this study was to analyze compliance with the Berlin Principles by the rankings prepared by Sunedu, as well as to evaluate their reliability, by comparing them with other rankings (THE, SIR y QS). The design has been non-experimental, descriptive, with a mixed approach. The sample consisted of twenty Peruvian universities classified in the Sunedu rankings, selected in a non-probabilistic way, based on the research objectives. As main results, it was obtained that the usefulness of the Sunedu rankings is minimal, since, by focusing only on research, the asymmetry of information on the quality of the training process does not decrease, therefore. it is not possible for young people and parents to make adequate decisions based on their results. OBJETIVE: To determine the incidence of Marine-Lenhart syndrome (MLS) in the previously thyroidectomies reported and describe its epidemiology, symptoms, diagnosis methods and compare with Plummer syndrome (PS). MATERIALS AND METHODS: Medical records of 694 hyperthyroid patients were reviewed and ANOVA was perform to compare age of patients, time of disease and thyroid's weight between MLS (diffuse hyperthyroidism with at least 1 node with increased uptake and with or without cold nodes) and PS. RESULTS: The MLS was reported in 4,3% of hyperthyroidisins and 1,2% of the total. Patients age, time of disease and thyroids weight were significantly different between MLS and PS. MLS produced pressure symptoms in two thirds of the patients and functional sings and symptoms in the most of them. La microbiota intestinal influye en funciones vitales y se ha vinculado con enfermedades neurodegenerativas (END) como Alzheimer (EA) y Parkinson (EP). Enfoques microbiológicos y propuestas moleculares ofrecen potencial para identificar biomarcadores tempranos.
