The independent musical scene of Lima encompasses political issues or refers to the Peruvian identity. This article touches on particular aspects of this alternative scene. From my standpoint, the artistic and political dimensions being very much imbricated, the study naturally leads us to look at the social dynamics at play in Peru. It intends to start from an in-depth analysis of the different influences of the artists in order to understand what inspires them to create and how their inspiration is converted into original and hard-hitting creation songs.

El presente trabajo de investigación tiene el propósito analizar y describir la situación festiva actual de la Danza Tuy Tuy, así como dar a conocer todos los elementos que están ligados a la danza del Centro Poblado San Miguel de Querosh. Esta investigación de metodología etnográfica, se realizó en distintos momentos y de manera presencial en el mismo lugar donde se escenifica la danza. Para la recolección de datos se utilizaron como instrumentos una guía de entrevista, una guía de observación y una ficha de grabación del campo. La guía de observación participante cumplió un rol importante en la presente investigación; a través de ella se pudo establecer todas las actividades y costumbres que acompañan la celebración de la festividad donde se baila la danza en sus distintos momentos de escenificación.
