Fish are the vertebrates that have the greatest number and diversity of parasitic species. Auchenipterus nuchalis (Spix & Agassiz, 1829) is a small fish that occurs in South America, popularly known as “Peruvian mandi”. It has twilight habits and its diet is basically composed of aquatic insects and microcrustaceans, which are intermediate hosts of several parasitic species. Objective: To compare – in vivo- the topical application of hyaluronic acid and honey in the healing and development of bacteria in the mucosa of guinea pigs. Material and methods: In vivo study conducted on a sample of 30 guinea pigs, divided into three groups, all under identical conditions (location, feeding, temperature). For five consecutive days, both in the morning and in the evening, the following treatments were topically applied: hyaluronic acid in Group A, bee honey in Group B, while no substances were applied in Group C (GC). The area where the study was carried out is located in the Moena Caño Community, located on the left bank of the Amazon River, Maynas Province, Belén District, Loreto Region. The present study analyzes the influence of stump height on the capacity and length of the regrowth of Calycophyllum spruceanum in an alluvial zone of the Peruvian Amazon. The parametric tests between the stump height and the study variables were done using the analysis of variance for a completely randomized design with an unequal number of observations per treatment and the Tukey test at 95% confidence. The results indicate a capacity and length of the regrowth of Calycophyllum spruceanum classified as bad.
