The Rietveld refinement method has taken high relevance since its creation. Nowadays, it is an useful tool in many fields of industry, materials science, and technology. For these reasons, it becomes a need for scientists and engineers whom pretend to use it for proper analysis of their materials. However, the initiation in the method can be slow, taking into account the accelerated rhythm of the research and economic demands. Objective. To determine the association between the application of the Rehabilitation Program (RP) and the Functional Performance (DF) of patients with Parkinson's disease at the "Cirujano Mayor Santiago Távara" Naval Medical Center. Methods. Analytical, longitudinal, retrospective cohort study, in 18 months. By means of a sample of 46 patients, in two cohorts, functional performance was determined by dimensions of basic activities (Barthel indexes), strength and endurance (SPPB) and walking speed. Five values or categories were used to determine dependency, frailty and incoordination. Normality was determined using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and for statistical analysis the Mann- Whitney U was used, where a value of p <0.05 was considered significant. Results. The evangelizing mission of the Jesuits in America was embodied in urban and architectural facts. The Jesuit urban complexes were made up of 1 or more apple trees with three fundamental functions: evangelizing, educational, and residential, which were complemented by cultivation and storage. Cerebrovascular disease is a generator of functional dependency in elderly patients, which brings with it personal, family, social and economic repercussions. The objective of the research was to determine at what level the Stroke affects the basic activities of daily life of older adult patients hospitalized at the Regional Hospital of Loreto 2019-2020. The study design was non-experimental, descriptive, retrospective, and cross-sectional; which consisted of 49 elderly patients hospitalized between June 2019 and February 2020 with a diagnosis of CVD, in whom the Barthel index was evaluated. Radios face significant challenges in the face of digital transformation. The purpose of this study, based on the current state of the radio industry, is to analyze the opportunities and challenges that digitalization presents for traditional radio stations and public radio in Ecuador. It uses a qualitative methodology, where it explores various indicators and trends in the contemporary radio ecosystem. The results show that, although the funding and prominence of public radio has decreased over time, the digital transformation opens doors to connect with younger audiences and to diversify the content offered. In addition, the potential of new digital formats and platforms is highlighted.
