The study aimed to provide the benefits of forfaiting, as a financing tool for international trade. In addition, demonstrate how international payment methods can be used as a financing tool, specifically on the confirmed letter of credit that is used to generate a forfaiting. The documentary method was used, considering scientific research published in indexed journals in the last five years. In addition, the synthesis method was used for data analysis, and it was qualitative considering the opinion of the authors and experts in the field.
