El nasoangiofibroma juvenil es un tumor vascular que se presenta generalmente en hombres prepúberes. Esto ha originado que se postule la presencia de receptores androgénicos en su superficie, hecho que no ha sido fehacientemente demostrado. Aun así se han descrito algunos casos e mujeres y en hombres adultos. Mientras mas joven es el paciente, mas agresivo es el tumor. En la evaluación de estos pacientes es fundamental la TAC (tomografía computadorizada) de alta resolución tanto de sección axial como coronal con medio de contraste. Este estudio nos permite delimitar el tumor. En al actualidad no hay discusión de este punto, sin embargo, la utilización sistemática de la RNM (resonancia nuclear magnética) es discutible, dejándola algunos autores solamente para los casos de sospecha de compromiso endocraneano o bien si ha habido cirugía previa.

This work shows the three occasions in which Peru, as a founding member of the United Nations, has constructively participated in the Security Council (1955 - 1956), (1973 - 1974) and (1984 - 1985) and always guided by the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter to achieve international peace and security. The most relevant thematic axes in this period are those referred to human rights, civil and political rights, international security, decolonization, and people´s self[1]determination. Among the main issues developed herein are the Palestinian question and the Middle East, the Suez Canal crisis, Apartheid and decolonization in Southern Africa, the question of Cyprus, and the Nicaragua matter.
