Uno de estos lugares está ubicado en la zona industrial de Independencia, es actualmente uno de los principales polos atractores en la ciudad. Lima Norte está atravesando un proceso de crecimiento urbano, que pone en evidencia una necesidad insatisfecha de espacios deportivos de calidad. En la actualidad los distritos del norte de Lima cuentan con equipamientos deportivos cuya gran mayoría está conformado por losas deportivas. Este mono funcionalidad de la infraestructura deportiva, es una limitan-te para el desarrollo del ciudadano, requiriendo dotar en la Lima Norte y en la ciudad nuevos equipamientos deportivos. En ese sentido, el Centro Deportivo Integral del Norte, como ejercicio proyectual, busca contribuir a consolidar la Centralidad de Lima Norte. De esta manera proponer espacios deportivos polivalentes que permitan diversificar la oferta de equipamientos de calidad en la ciudad. A partir de estas premisas, el proyecto plantea desde su composición espacial y estructural, ambientes que respondan las necesidades particulares de los diversos ambientes deportivos, así como la generación de espacios permeables, promoviendo la visibilización del “espectáculo deportivo” que en el edificio se practican.

One of these places is located in the industrial zone of Independencia, currently one of the main attraction poles in the city. Northern Lima is undergoing a process of urban growth, which highlights an unsatisfied need for quality sports facilities. Currently, the districts in the north of Lima have sports facilities, the vast majority of which are made up of sports slabs. This monofunctional nature of the sports infrastructure is a limiting factor for the development of citizens, requiring the provision of new sports facilities in northern Lima and the city. Therefore, the Centro Deportivo Integral del Norte, as a design exercise, seeks to contribute to the consolidation of the Centralidad de Lima Norte. The project provides multi-purpose sports spaces that will diversify the supply of quality sports facilities in the city.
