description La presente investigación se realizó en el asentamiento humano Tupac Amaru IIetapa, ubicado en el distrito del porvenir, Trujillo, y se enfoca en el diseño de una red de agua potable y alcantarillado para este estudio se basa en la falta de servicios fundamentales que afectan a los habitantes, poniéndolos en riesgo de salud y problemas de calidad de vida. Se propone como objetivo general diseñar una red eficiente, basada en análisis topográficos, estudio de mecánica de suelos, determinar parámetros técnicos y cálculo de costos. El diseño se basa en normativas nacionales y utiliza tecnologías avanzadas como AutoCAD, civil 3d y software especializado. Entre los hallazgos, se identificó que los suelos predomínales son arenosos mal graduados con una capacidad portante limitada 1.5 kg/cm².ademas, el diseño tiene como objetivo cubrir una población de 9187 habitantes durante 20 años con una dotación diaria de 250 l/s, garantizando sostenibilidad y funcionabilidad a largo plazo. El estudio enfatiza la importancia del acceso a servicios básicos como impulsor del desarrollo y aspira a aportar de manera significativa al bienestar de la población mediante un enfoque técnico y social.
