Peru was no different to any other country in having to tackle Covid-19, but it did as it was preparing to celebrate the bicentenary of its independence. Great changes therefore had to be made to the celebrations as well as to other aspects of national life--especially the education sector, in which universities witnessed radical alterations to the teaching--learning process. Generational succession and its continuity is one of the biggest concerns of family businesses, constituting a problem that has generated the attention of many researchers and consultants.
