Este estudio tuvo como objetivo general determinar las Propiedades psicométricas del Trait Meta-Mood Scale (TMMS) en universitarios de Trujillo. Este estudio fue de tipo aplicada, psicométrica con un diseño instrumental, así mismo la muestra quedó conformada por 370 universitarios mayores de 18 años de ambos sexos. El instrumento que se empleó fue el Cuestionario de Trait Meta- Mood Scale (TMMS) y los resultados que se obtuvieron fue que el instrumento presenta que la validez de constructo bastantes adecuados (CFI=0.95, TLI= 0.94, SRMR=0.04 y RMSEA =0.06), además se evidenció que las cargas factoriales fueron mayores al 0.56. Para la confiabilidad, se utilizó el coeficiente de McDonald dando un resultado general de 0.90 y por dimensiones desde 0.83 hasta 0.87.
