In the present investigation entitled: Preventive Prison and its relationship with Fundamental Rights in the Lima Centro Judicial District - Lima 2020; The main objective was to analyze the relationship between the independent variable Preventive Prison and the dependent variable Fundamental Rights. The focus of the study is quantitative, basic type, correlational level, non-experimental design without affecting the variables, and cross-sectional because it was carried out in the year 2020. Preventive detention has been the subject of controversies and legal and juridical conflicts, criticized as imprudence and abuse of authority by the defendants and that is why it becomes a legal, constitutional, and social problem that affects fundamental rights.
