Summary:This qualitative study investigated the success factors that drove the increase in the internationalization of Peruvian franchises in the gastronomic sector during the 2010-2015 period to Latin America. In-depth interviews were used as data collection techniques, the corresponding verification of results and conclusions was carried out by the participating segments and categories. The proposed research objectives could be tested, through the theoretical framework, analyzing whether commercial promotion, commercial policy and inputs and different mixes of kitchens have been successful factors that decisively determined the increase in the internationalization of Peruvian franchises, subject of the present study. Our research was developed in a quite positive scenario, where we had the satisfaction of being able to gather valuable information that allowed us to validate the proposed hypothesis.
