Determinar cuáles fueron las complicaciones materno perinatales en el embarazo adolescente del Hospital Regional Docente de Trujillo durante enero del 2018 a diciembre 2019. Materiales y métodos: Se llevó a cabo un estudio observacional, analítico, retrospectivo de tipo caso-control donde se incluyeron 240 gestantes entre 10 a 34 años. Se registró el diagnóstico de embarazo adolescente en edad comprendida entre 10 a 19 años, luego identificar las complicaciones maternas durante el embarazo, durante el parto, puerperio y neonatales más frecuentes en esta población. Resultados: Las complicaciones maternas del embarazo adolescente fueron anemia en el tercer trimestre con un (p 0.001) y un (OR 4.7048), Infección del tracto urinario con un (p 0.0020) y (OR 2.93923), ambas complicaciones evidenciaron ser significativos y riesgo de que la gestante adolescente presente dichas complicaciones, la preeclampsia con signos de severidad con un (p 0.7884) no presentó significancia estadística. Dentro de las complicaciones perinatales, la Cesárea con un (p 0.1785), no mostró significancia estadística. La anemia post parto presentó significancia estadística con un (p 0.0001) y (OR 8.2222) evidenciando riesgo de que la gestante presente dicha complicación, prematuridad con un (p 0.0235) y (OR 2.4267), bajo peso al nacer con un (p 0.0043) y (OR 3.4615) son estadísticamente significativos, el sufrimiento fetal no se evidenció significancia estadística. Conclusiones: Las complicaciones maternas más frecuentes del embarazo adolescente fueron anemia en el tercer trimestre, infección del tracto urinario y preeclampsia con signos de severidad. Las complicaciones perinatales del embarazo adolescente más frecuentes fueron cesárea, anemia post parto, prematuridad, bajo peso al nacer y sufrimiento fetal agudo. |

Materials and methods: An observational, analytical, retrospective case-control study was carried out in which 240 pregnant women between 10 and 34 years of age were included. The diagnosis of adolescent pregnancy between the ages of 10 and 19 years was recorded, after identifying the most frequent maternal complications during pregnancy, during childbirth, puerperium and neonatal in this population. Results: The maternal complications of adolescent pregnancy were anemia in the third trimester with a (p 0.001) and a (OR 4.7048), urinary tract infection with a (p 0.0020) and (OR 2.93923), both complications were significant and risk of the adolescent pregnant woman presenting these complications, preeclampsia with signs of severity with a (p 0.7884) did not present statistical significance. Among the perinatal complications, cesarean section with a (p 0.1785) did not show statistical significance. Postpartum anemia was statistically significant with a (p 0.0001) and (OR 8.2222) evidencing the risk of the pregnant woman presenting this complication, prematurity with a (p 0.0235) and (OR 2.4267), low birth weight with a (p 0.0043) and (OR 3.4615) are statistically significant, fetal distress was not statistically significant. Conclusions: The most frequent maternal complications of adolescent pregnancy were anemia in the third trimester, urinary tract infection, and preeclampsia with signs of severity.
