Se llevó a cabo un estudio cuantitativo, nivel explicativo; el diseño de contrastación fue no experimental, con corte transversal y de tipo básica correlacional, en el cual se incluyeron 40 profesionales de enfermería que laboraban en el servicio de emergencia según criterios de selección. Los resultados indicaron que el 75% del personal de enfermería obtienen nivel medio sobre el síndrome de burnout y el 57.5% nivel medio sobre la satisfacción laboral. En las características del personal, el 47.5% tiene entre 30 a 39 años, el 97.5% es sexo femenino, el 50% tiene un tiempo de servicio de 6 a 10 años, el 55% es de condición laboral nombrado. También se denota que la prueba Tau-b de Kendall es -0.655 con nivel de significancia menor al 5% (Sig. < 0.05), demuestra que el síndrome de burnout se relaciona de manera inversa y significativa con la satisfacción laboral del personal de enfermería. Se concluye que a un mayor nivel de síndrome de burnout mayor insatisfacción laboral

A quantitative study was carried out, explanatory level; The contrast design was non-experimental, with a cross-sectional and basic correlational type, in which 40 nursing professionals who worked in the emergency service were included according to selection criteria. The results indicated that 75% of the nursing staff obtained a medium level on burnout syndrome and 57.5% obtained a medium level on job satisfaction. Regarding the characteristics of the staff, 47.5% are between 30 and 39 years old, 97.5% are female, 50% have a service period of 6 to 10 years, and 55% have an appointed employment status.
