Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el impacto psicosocial de la estética dental y la autoestima en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Trujillo 2022. Se evaluaron a 274 alumnos, a quienes se les aplicó el Cuestionario de Impacto Psicosocial de la Estética Dental (PIDAQ) y el Test de Rosenberg para determinar el nivel de autoestima. Para hallar la correlación entre las variables se aplicó la prueba no paramétrica de Spearman y la prueba de Chi cuadrado para evaluar la relación con el sexo, con un nivel de confianza del 95%. Resultados: Se encontró una correlación negativa estadísticamente significativa entre el impacto psicosocial de la estética dental y el nivel de autoestima en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego (Rho= - 0.316, p= 0.001). Así mismo, no se encontró relación entre el sexo y el impacto psicosocial de la estética dental (p = 0.999) y con el nivel de autoestima (p = 0.715).
