The cultivation of tomato (Lycopersicon sculentum L. MIII has become the most popular and widely cultivated vegetable in our country, due to its high range of adaptation, good nutritional value, mainly in vitamins and minerals. For its production and consumption has gradually increased due to the population growth and immigration of citizens of the coast and sierra, affecting the expansion of the agricultural frontier, but not the increase in yields per unit area, for many factors, such as Example, the cultivation of suitable plants, the presence of pests and diseases, the high incidence of weeds, the non-use of quality seeds, etc. In this situation, the Worm Humus (Elsenia foetida) An organic material that improves the physical, chemical and Soil biology, being also a natural source of nutrients easily assimilated by plants.
