|Summary:||The objective the present work was to determine plague insects in the crop Passiflora ligularis, Juss, “passion fruit” or “granadilla”, at Coina, Usquil district, Otuzco province, La Libertad department. It was determined in two phases: field and laboratory work. At field, 14 evaluations weekly were carried out, selecting 20 granadilla plantations through an absolute sampling, so that plague insect specimens would be collected. The damage caused by the collected specimens was also described. At the laboratory, insect adult specimens were raised and recuperated for a posterior mounting and determination of species by the use of entomological techniques and collection methods. The determination of the plague insect species was carried out with the use of taxonomic keys and specialized literature. For further confirmation, specimens were sent to the Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria (SENASA) where they were identified ing. Jorge Tanaka Nakamacho. The determined species were: Dasios sp. (Dip.: Lonchaeidae); Dione juno juno (Cramer, 1779); Heliconius numata (Cramer, 1780) (Lep.: Nymphalidae); Omiodes sp. (Fabricius, 1775) (Lep.: Crambidae); Leptoglosus zonatus (Dallas, 1852) (Hem.: Coreidae) and Diabrotica viridula (Fabricius, 1801) (Col.: Chrysomelidae).
