|Summary:||ABSTRACT The purpose of the present investigation was to determine the environmental effects of the deforestation of the dry forest "El Algarrobal" of Conache. The methodology used was observation; the camera was used to obtain images of the access road to the forest. Initially, a field survey was carried out, followed by an exploratory forest inventory at 30.2% intensity for 3.31 ha, followed by a map showing the distribution of the route of the 4 transepts. The results found are: the density of sampling yielded 140 carob trees Prosopis pallida per hectare, which is directly related to loss of habitat of species of flora and fauna; a direct relation of loss of biodiversity reflected in the decrease in the number of individuals evaluated during the last 10 years, from 2006 to 2016, shows a reduction of 17 individuals per hectare due to deforestation, loss of species of flora species and biological diversity. The loss of individuals Prosopis pallida is mainly due to illegal logging, in transept 1 and 2, these areas adjoin the urban area, and are heavily intervened due to deforestation, it has been verified in this area the presence of garbage waste such as bags, plastic cups, cans, which means a high degree of disturbance; in transept 3, it was characterized by being an area with the presence of individuals of Prosopis pallida better preserved, with rest of garbage in smaller amount, in transept 4, individuals of Prosopis pallida with denser crown and more extensive branches were found , the area is better conserved, with almost no waste, with low degree of disturbance; In the forest, wildlife is rare. It has been concluded that there is a direct relationship between the loss of individuals Prosopis pallida with the reduction of biological diversity due to loss of habitat, as well as reduction of CO2; in the transepts route it has been concluded that transepts 1 and 2 are highly and medically intervened, presenting greater deforestation due to illegal logging that has caused loss of habitat, erosion and desertification of soils, a problem that does not occur in transepts 3, and 4, it presents better conserved areas almost without intervention; the fauna found was found in little quantity due to loss of habitats.|
