The present research thesis entitled: "Governmental communication strategies and the degree of satisfaction in the risk management policy in the face of Covid - 19, Trujillo 2020", states as general objective: To determine the relationship between governmental communication strategies and the degree of satisfaction in the National Risk Management Policy in the face of Covid - 19, in the Province of Trujillo 2020. For the achievement of the objective, two questionnaires were administered to 385 citizens of the province of Trujillo, questionnaires approved by specialists in the field of governmental political communication. The methodological design is a basic, relational, non-experimental, mixed study with prevalence of the quantitative and cross-sectional approach. The result obtained was: Spearman's Rho coefficient between the variables was 0.758 with a bilateral significance level of less than 0.05. The main conclusion was: Governmental communication strategies are highly positively related to the degree of satisfaction with the National Risk Management Policy regarding Covid - 19, in the Province of Trujillo 2020, so it is necessary to have an adequate planning of the strategies developed by the government, ensuring that it is comprehensive in all its aspects and allows responding efficiently to the needs of the population
