|Summary:||The present study had as objective to determine if the strategy of integral approach in the home care (PADOMI) will have a greater cost-effectiveness in its application than the traditional model, in older adults with fragility and disability. CAP III Metropolitan -ESSALUD, 2014-2015; For this purpose, a comparative type design of two groups, quasi-experimental, transverse post-test type, was performed after a six-month intervention. The sample was represented by 36 relatives of elderly patients with disability and frailty, of both sexes, selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Significant differences (p <0.001) were demonstrated with respect to the caregiver's quality of life and quality of life, as well as a decrease in the number of complications, which expresses more effectiveness in favor of the integral approach. Also, it is more cost-efficient to approach in an integral manner with a highly significant difference to the traditional one (p <0.001).
