|Summary:||To evaluate the effectiveness of hypersodium combined with dextrose as a treatment in improving the evolution of varices of legs. Materials and methods: A prospective, longitudinal, descriptive and pre-experimental study was performed. The population consisted of 32 patients diagnosed with varices of legs with CEAP C1 to C3 treated in the Polyclinic EsSalud of Víctor Larco - Trujillo. The information was obtained from the CIVIQ-20 questionnaire applied before and after the therapy at 2 and 4 weeks, as well as other data recorded on the collection cards. Statistical analysis of the ANOVA (Analysis of variance) test was used for a single factor, considering that the mean difference is significant, between before and after treatment, if the probability of error is less than 5% (p <0.05). Results and conclusions: The obtained data were processed in an Excel spreadsheet and analyzed with the statistical package SPSS Statistics 24, whereby the ANOVA test was performed for a single factor obtaining a p = 0.000 (value p <0.05). It can be concluded that there is a significant decrease in the pre-and post therapy questionnaire score, evaluated for each aspect and the overall, as well as an improvement in the varicose morphology for type C1 varicose veins, and no adverse effects on therapy|
