Summary:The present research work entitled "MANAGEMENT IN THE PLACEMENT OF CREDITS AND THEIR EFFECT ON PROFITABILITY IN THE MIBANCO AGENCIA CHEPEN COMPANY - PERIOD 2016"; Its general objective is: Determine the effect of the placement of credits on the profitability of Mibanco agency Chepen - Period 2016. For the present research report, the descriptive design was used, as well as the methods: deductive-inductive, analytical, synthetic and statistical method. In the techniques of data collection, the survey was used. According to the results obtained, it was found in the income statement that the interest income from the placement of loans is 2,099,772 and in 2015 it was 1,701,988, which shows that there is a positive influence on the profitability of the financial institution Mibanco. It was determined that 55.03% of the clients are satisfied with the installments and with the payment time granted by Mibanco, 28.11% almost always, 7.69% almost never and 9.17% never; 46.45% of customers are satisfied with the requirements and guarantees requested by Mibanco; 30.18% of clients always have delays in their payments of their credit, 26.63% indicate that almost always, 22.49% indicate that almost never and 20.71% indicate that never; shows that loans have increased by 44.44% in 2016 compared to 2015, 35.56% have decreased and 20% have decreased. It was found that the investment return in 2015 of 9.23% and in 2016 of 11.88%; its profitability on sales in 2015 is 7.36% and in 2016 it was 18.37%; and its financial return in 2015 is 2.14% and in 2016 it is 3.63%.
