Maestría en EcoturismoLa presente investigación tiene como objetivo proponer una alternativa que mejore la calidad de vida de los pobladores en la comunidad nativa de Boca Ishiriwe, ubicada en el departamento de Madre de Dios, a través de actividades sostenibles sobre la base del ecoturismo. Se realizó una investigación aplicada, analítica - empírica y descriptiva que implica el análisis de datos cualitativos y cuantitativos, así como la recopilación de información en los aspectos: social, ambiental, cultural, económico e institucional, cuyo análisis permitió fundamentar la propuesta de investigación. Se complementó esta información con encuestas, entrevistas a expertos del rubro turístico y el desarrollo de talleres, donde se involucró a los beneficiarios directos de la presente investigación y se convocó a futuros aliados estratégicos. La comunidad nativa de Boca Ishiriwe vive, como ha vivido ancestralmente, de la caza, pesca, recolección, agricultura y actualmente la venta estacional de castaña brasilera. A pesar de no tener intervenciones directas del turismo se ha percibido, en base a la información recogida y a los resultados, que el territorio presenta las condiciones tanto sociales, culturales y ambientales para que el turismo sea una actividad que contribuya a la gestión del territorio y a la puesta en valor de los recursos comunitarios. Entre los principales hallazgos de la investigación se ha encontrado que en la actualidad ninguna empresa operadora realiza actividades en la comunidad nativa Boca Ishiriwe, como parte de sus operaciones turísticas. En las entrevistas realizadas a los aliados estratégicos estos expresaron su interés en desarrollar un trabajo en conjunto con la comunidad, previa visita y coordinación.The main idea of this research is to propose an alternative that improves the quality of life of the Boca Ishiriwe Native community population, located in Madre de Dios region, through sustainable activities based on ecotourism. An applied, analytical - empirical and descriptive research was carried out that involves the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, as well as the collection of information involved social, environmental, cultural, economic and institutional aspects, whose analysis allowed to base the research proposal. This information is complemented with surveys; interviews with tourism industry experts and the development of workshops, where the most important beneficiary of this research were involved with future strategic allies were summoned. People from Boca Ishiriwe lives, as it has lived ancestrally, from hunting, fishing, gathering, farming and the seasonal sale of Brazilian nuts. Despite not having direct explosions of tourism, it has been perceived, based on the information collected and the results of, that the territory presents the social, cultural and environmental conditions for tourism to be an activity that contributes to the management of the territory and the enhancement of community resources. Among the main findings of the investigation, it has been found that currently no operating company carries out activities in the Boca Ishiriwe native community as part of tourism.
