Fue de tipo cuantitativa, correlacional y diseño no experimental, la muestra fue 132 madres, como instrumento se utilizó el cuestionario con una validez de 0.024 y 0.017 y una confiabilidad de Alfa de Crombach de 0.803 y 0.822 para las variables. Según los resultados el 50.00% de las madres perciben un nivel regular en cuanto a los cuidados de enfermería. Así como el 66.67% de ellas presentan un nivel regular en la identificación de signos de alarma en el RN. Se concluyó que existe relación directa entre el cuidado de enfermería y la identificación de signos de alarma del recién nacido. Se recomendó a la jefatura de enfermería y al personal de enfermería organizar talleres demostrativos para las madres sobre como reconocer los signos de alerta en sus hijos, entre otras indicaciones además del comportamiento normal que debe tener el RN, asimismo de brindar los procedimientos y acciones a seguir después de identificar los signos de alarma en sus hijos.

It was of type quantitative, correlational and non-experimental design, the sample was 132 mothers, as instrument was used the questionnaire with a validity of 0.024 and 0.017 and a reliability of Alpha of Crombach of 0803 and 0822 for the variables. According to the results, 50.00% of mothers perceive a regular level of nursing care. As Well as 66.67% of them present, a regular level in the identification of alarm signs in the RN. It was concluded that there is a direct relationship between nursing care and the identification of warning signs of the newborn.
