Para recolectar los datos, se aplicaron tres instrumentos: Escala de comunicación familiar (FCS), Test de Ciberbullying (CYB-A) y la escala de Autolesiones para adolescentes estudiantes (EAES). Los hallazgos obtenidos revelaron que el funcionamiento familiar no tiene un efecto mediador entre el ciberbullying y las autolesiones, sin embargo, a nivel de género se halló en la muestra de mujeres que existe mediación entre las variables de estudio; en tanto, en varones no se evidenció mediación.
