El principal propósito para esta implementación se debió a la necesidad del cliente por mejorar los tiempos de movilización de vehículos en la obra, debido a la elevada congestión por la zona de trabajo. Al medir y analizar detalladamente el flujo de todos los vehículos en obra mediante un sistema de información basado en formularios (con un porcentaje de validación mayor al 90%), así como el levantamiento semanal de una nube de puntos que recoge toda la zona de trabajo y sus restricciones, se logró proponer e implementar 3 propuestas mensuales con el equipo de proyecto, conformado por los jefes de producción y los subcontratistas de obra civil durante las sesiones ICE semanales. A su vez, esto permitió reducir en 29 minutos el tiempo promedio de ingreso de vehículos mixer, así como mantener un tiempo meta de salida menor a 10 minutos.
