The intention of the text is to demonstrate that the proposal of this book in relation to poetry is the one that the poet has always professed: poetry is the health of language and of the soul, and an experience of humanisation. En el presente artículo, se analizará la función curativa de los poemas de El angelario de la vida (2023), de Iván Rodríguez Chávez. Así, pues, se resaltan aspectos de su poética, como el uso de aforismos, odas, humor, ironía, la preocupación por el otro y la relación vida-muerte. Lo que se quiere demostrar es que la propuesta de este libro con relación a la poesía es la misma que siempre ha profesado el poeta: la poesía es la salud del lenguaje y del alma, y experiencia de humanización.
