Eigthy necropsies were performed and it was observed that the system with the most findings was the digestive 33/80 (41.3%), followed by the respiratory 24/80 (30.0%), the lymphatic 8/80 (10%), the skin 7 /80 (8.8%), the musculoskeletal 4/80 (5.0%), the central nervous 3/80 (3.8%) and finally the endocrine system 1/80 (1.3%). The results of necropsies and histopathology were grouped into the following categories: non-parasitic infectious 36/80 (45.0%), parasitic infectious 27/80 (33.8%), toxic 7/80 (8.8%), physical 6/80 (7.5%) and nutritional-metabolic 4/80 (5.0%). The main diagnoses were mycotic rhinitis 10/80 (12.5%), caseous lymphadenitis 8/80 (10.0%), and haemonchosis 7/80 (8.8%). The epidemiological and pathological data presented in this study can help to identify and establish control measures for diseases that affect sheep in the Mexican tropics.El objetivo del presente estudio fue determinar las principales patologías diagnosticadas durante el periodo comprendido entre los años 2019 y 2021 en ovinos criados en el estado de Colima, México. Se realizaron 80 necropsias y se observó que el sistema donde se presentaron más hallazgos fue el digestivo 33/80 (41.3%), seguido del respiratorio 24/80 (30.0%), el linfático 8/80 (10%), la piel 7/80 (8.8%), el músculo-esquelético 4/80 (5.0%), el sistema nervioso central 3/80 (3.8%) y finalmente el endocrino 1/80 (1.3%). Los resultados de las necropsias y la histopatología, se agruparon en las siguientes categorías: infecciosas no parasitarias 36/80 (45.0%), infecciosas parasitarias 27/80 (33.8%), tóxicas 7/80 (8.8%), físicas 6/80 (7.5%) y nutricionales y metabólicas 4/80 (5.0%). Los principales diagnósticos fueron rinitis micótica 10/80 (12.5%), linfadenitis caseosa 8/80 (10.0%) y hemoncosis 7/80 (8.8%).
