We worked under the guidelines of the PRISMA systematization matrix, where the databases analyzed were SCOPUS, PUBMED, SCIELO, REDALYC, with 3444 articles found between 2018 and 2022 respectively, after the selection process, 14 articles that met the criteria were analyzed. the criteria established by the investigator. The main findings are about adolescents who live and interact within an appropriate socio-family context, characterized by continuous and timely attention from parents, assertive dialogue, affective climate, practice of positive values, good family customs, among others. They present a greater development of their capacities to identify and respect their own emotions and those of others, which leads adolescents to be more proactive and show a positive attitude towards the various circumstances they face. Thus, it was concluded that the socio-family context favors the development of emotional intelligence in adolescents.Al contexto sociofamiliar se ha responsabilizado de múltiples eventos tanto favorables como desfavorables, más aún en el desarrollo del niño y adolescentes. De acuerdo con esta realidad, el presente artículo de revisión planteó como objetivo analizar la literatura científica que pone en evidencia la manera en que el contexto sociofamiliar favorece la inteligencia emocional en adolescentes. Se trabajó bajo las directrices de la matriz de sistematización PRISMA, donde las bases de datos analizadas fueron SCOPUS, PUBMED, SCIELO, REDALYC, con 3444 artículos encontrados entre el 2018 y 2022, respectivamente. Luego del proceso de selección, se analizaron 14 artículos que cumplieron con los criterios establecidos por el investigador. Los principales hallazgos se refieren a los adolescentes que conviven y se relacionan dentro de un contexto sociofamiliar apropiado, caracterizado por la atención continua y oportuna por parte de los padres, diálogo asertivo, clima afectivo, práctica de valores positivos, buenas costumbres familiares, entre otros. Estos adolescentes presentan un mayor desarrollo de sus capacidades para identificar y respetar sus emociones propias y de los demás, lo cual conlleva a que sean más proactivos y muestren una actitud positiva frente a las diversas circunstancias que afrontan.
